Art Masterpiece is a national art enrichment program. At Pueblo Elementary, the program is funded by the Pueblo PTO and administered by community-member volunteers. The program is entirely dependent upon our volunteers! You do not need a background in art to be a volunteer for this program!

Volunteers present pre-developed lessons (one per semester) on Masters of the art world that are planned to support the academic curriculum at each grade level. Lessons last about 45 minutes to one hour. The lessons, resource materials, and supplies that volunteers need to present Art Masterpiece lessons are supplied.

If you would like to volunteer to help with the program contact your Homeroom Parent.

Volunteers are responsible for:

  1. Coordinating a time with their teacher to complete the lesson in their classroom during the school day.
Teaching the lessons or helping in the classroom while another volunteer teaches.
  2. Lessons are to last about 45 minutes to one hour. The lessons, resource materials and supplies that volunteers need to present Art Masterpiece lessons are supplied by the Art Masterpiece Parent Coordinator. Lessons can be found online at the PTO web site and all materials and supplies are located in the Art Masterpiece closet in the Teacher’s Lounge.

If you would like to volunteer to help with the program or if you have any questions, please contact Art Masterpiece Coordinator April Goodman here.
